Overview

Handlock is designed to tap on turns 2 and 3 then start deploying big stuff like Mountain Giant or Twilight Drake from turn 4 on. Against aggressive decks skipping your first 3 turns is too reckless. It's usually better to slow them down with cards like Darkbomb, Sunfury Protector, Ancient Watcher and mostly give up on ever playing those Mountain Giants. Warlock Hero Power and Lord Jaraxxus give this deck one of the strongest late games in Hearthstone. Hellfire and Shadowflame punish opponents who over-commit to the board. Molten Giant makes up for the weak early game against aggro. Emperor Thaurissan allows you to activate Jaraxxus's crazy strong Infernal Hero Power the same turn that you play him.
