Firebat shows off a new look into Ramp Druid deck building.

Specific Matchups:

Warrior:

  • Tech Cards
    • 2nd BGH for MC Tech
      • You won’t be able to get mind control tech value against warrior unless they have a minion on board and drops Dr. Boom. BGH in this matchup is always useful since they always have 6-7 targets.
    • Faceless Manipulator
      • If you ramp a big minion out early with innervates or wild growths faceless manipulator just snowballs this matchup on the spot. Even if none of your minions survive the brutal warrior removals, you can always faceless one of their threats.
    • Harrison Jones
      • Along with taking away their weapon and drawing a card, Harrison jones is just another threat warrior has to deal with or else it will just chip away their armor. The card is a game changer that can straight up win this matchup.

  • Play Style
    • Play this matchup slow, steady and control. Never overcommit your giant threats to his efficient removal while always having a strong enough board to pressure the warrior. Remember to play around brawl and always have a keeper for his sylvanas. This matchup is tough and becomes more favored if you draw your ramp. The MVP is Sneeds Old Shredder, if you have enough ramp I would even keep him in your opening hand as it almost always takes up more than one hard removal.

Shaman:

  • Tech Cards
    • Wild Pyromancer
      • Shamans today relies on low cost efficient low drops to snowball their early game with flametongue totem. Wild pyro also helps by killing off

Hunter:

  • Tech Cards
    • Heal Bot
    • Healing Touch
  • Play Style
    • Play passive dont hit into traps until you have lethal, but dont be too passive because you are also on a clock.

Druid:

  • Tech Cards
    • Second Nourish
      • Usually whoever draws wild growth wins this matchup so it doesn’t hurt to add another ramp card to either wild growth into or
    • Black knight
      • Almost all druids now have a taunt in order to help them survive to the late game
    • Hemet Nesingwary
      • Although after you play this card your opponent gets the wrath of the life time but straight up killing a druid of the claw is about as much value as you can ask for in that matchup.
